Twi-Wrap: Summit Denies Remake, Free Posters, & More

Horror site Bloody Disgusting sure had everyone talking, after claiming Lionsgate/Summit are already talking  a Twilight remake:

In fact, they’re already discussing it internally. It will happen.

Twilight will return. It will never leave. It is eternal. Prepare to weep for another decade.

It is still undecided exactly what the future of the franchise will be, though. It could be a direct remake, considering the initial saga is so poorly made, but then again it could also be a spinoff or maybe even a one-off sequel. It could be anything to keep the green bills piling high. But expect a remake. Yes, quickly.

The prediction is understandably getting mixed reactions from fans, from those who just don't want to believe, to those who want to keep the franchise going no matter what.

Today Summit/Lionsgate shot down the rumors with a clear answer to Deadline Hollywood:

”We are not remaking Twilight. We will happily support Stephanie Meyer if she decides to proceed in any way. But this will be the last one unless that should change.”

Read the rest. But didn't Bloody Disgusting say that's exactly what the studio would do?.. *evil grin* - we'll stay on top of this one for you.

The Los Angeles Public Library is giving away sets of these three posters. Find out what you need to do for a chance to win and good luck!
