A Smiley Rob Accepts Bravo's 'Otto Award'

“I remember this award very well, and I remember getting it for the first time”, says the 26-year-old happily. “It was in Munich and a lot of our fans were there.” It’s a pity that all those fans can’t also be here, today, when I hand over Rob his second award in the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills ($450 per night). I immediately notice: he doesn’t feign his happiness, it’s real. Rob is all smiles and presses the little Golden Indian to his chest. “If you win a prize that was given by fans, that’s the greatest thing”

Bobby Long Promotes 'Losing My Brotherhood' In L.A.

It's been a busy week, so forgive us for just now getting to this write-up. But we didn't want to pass up the opportunity to tell you about Bobby Long's latest project: A book of poetry called 'Losing My Brotherhood.'

We got a chance to attend his reading and performance at the Barnes & Noble this week in LA. Bobby read and talked about the one poem the book is named after, saying it was inspired by the "group of friends" ;) he left behind, when he moved from London to New York City.

He had a great turnout, and we felt lucky to be present as he poured his heart out in the poems he read to the crowd. We captured some of those moments for you, and included his last performance of the night and the funny story that preceded it. Until next time Bobby Long!

Robert Pattinson's 'The Rover' Gets The Green Light

UPDATE: The Herald Sun has more details of where Rob could be filming when he heads to Australia early next year:

Michod and producer Liz Watts scouted locations across SA, including the Flinders Ranges, earlier this month.

Flinders Ranges Mayor Peter Slattery said it would be a treat if Pattinson were in the region during the seven-week on-location shoot. Another two weeks will be shot at the Adelaide Studios.

Screen Australia said it will provide production financing for a previously announced Australian feature film project, The Rover, from Animal Kingdom writer-director David Michod. The Twilight star and Guy Pearce are both attached.

Set in the Australian desert, the futuristic western tells the story of Eric, who has left everything, everyone and every semblance of human kindness behind him, as he’s forced to join an injured gang member, Rey, to hunt down Rey’s gang after they steal the last of Eric’s possessions.

The Rover is produced by Porchlight Films in association with Los Angeles-based Lava Bear Films, with Liz Watts, David Linde and Michod producing. Film Nation will handle international sales, and Roadshow Films will be the Australian distributor.

The Rover is one of four features, four adult TV dramas and four kids TV series to receive $20 million of production funding from agency Screen Australia, triggering more than $100 million worth of production here.

Screen Australia’s CEO Ruth Harley said: “These four highly engaging and diverse Australian stories have huge potential. The Rover is a powerful well-crafted script from a talented team with an impressive cast. Anna Broinowski’s Aim High in Creation is a distinctive, ambitious film with a humorous and entertaining story. Felony has international breakout potential, and Healing promises to be a highly emotional and moving story on screen.”
